BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN
WILD & BRAVE
PROJECT DETAILS
Wild & Brave is more than a brand — it’s a movement. Created to support and honour women navigating life’s darkest, most transformative seasons, Wild & Brave exists as a reminder that we can emerge from the shadows not just surviving, but fully alive. The business aims to offer connection, courage, and community through powerful storytelling and meaningful products, with plans to launch apparel, merchandise, and ongoing support initiatives.
This is a brand built for the woman walking through her “dark night of the soul” — a space where resilience, truth, and softness are all allowed to coexist.
The Ask
The founder came to me with a strong emotional concept but no visual identity. She needed a brand that felt raw, deep, and real — a visual translation of the messy, brave journey of personal transformation. It had to reflect the pain and power of rising after hardship, with no sugar-coating and no polished perfection.
The goal was to create a brand identity that could grow into a product-based business — offering merchandise, wearable messages, and everyday reminders that healing is not linear, but it is powerful.
THE SOLUTION
I developed a brand identity that visually captured the emotional intensity and strength of Wild & Brave’s message. We worked with a muted colour palette: deep charcoal to represent depth and struggle, soft sand for grounded calm, and accents of gold foil to symbolise resilience, hope, and rising.
Textures played a big role — we intentionally leaned into a slightly rough, imperfect aesthetic, with gritty overlays and tactile visuals that gave the brand a raw, human edge. Typography was carefully chosen to balance power and softness, with just enough grit to feel real — but still deeply considered.
The result is a brand that feels whimsical yet grounded, poetic yet strong — a space where women can feel seen in their darkest moments and inspired to reclaim their wildness and bravery on the other side.
